The dry weather has finally given us the opportunity to catch up on mowing. Greens have been aerified and topdressed, and we are gradually lowering our mowing heights to summer levels.
This in addition to regular light topdressing and rolling will lead to the greens we are all looking for. The “new” naturalized areas in the rough are starting to take shape. Despite the slow spring start the new putting green and range tee are growing in nicely.
We are continuing to work on broadleaf weed control and other details like edging sprinkler heads.
Stump holes from this winters tree removal are being filled with topsoil and seeded.
With Memorial Day weekend just around the corner flowers are being planted. Looking forward to a great golf season ahead. . .
